“Music can name the unnameable and communicate the unknowable.” – Leonard Bernstein

Hello all

Been quite a busy week this week, lately, we have had issues with washing machines and cookers. I managed to fix the washing machine, a sock trapped somewhere it should not be. Told my daughter Ellie it was one of hers because it was awkward so and so or words to that effect, but the cooker died a death, so had to get a new one.

On the way to work midweek listening was filled by 4 Non Blondes ‎– Bigger, Better, Faster, More!. After yet another fine microwave meal, Thursday night I decided to go back to where it all started for me with The Specials – The Specials.

Friday night was a takeaway night, while waiting for it I decided to put Yazmin Lacey on random play and also downloaded her single Loose Love while enjoying a cool pear cider or two.

While waiting for the new cooker to arrival on Saturday morning, I was told by she who must be obeyed not to listen to music as I will not hear the door, so I caught up with reading Loving the Music blog, where I came across a new artist Vaughn Prangley and while I plumb in the new cooker I listened to his debut EP “Where it begins”, I went a bit mad, and I also decided to take up the kitchen floor, meaning I have just created another job that’s going to buy into my music listening time.

Being the cook in the house I broke the cooker in, with Chicken Kebabs, which I had marinated in garlic, Greek Yogurt, Paprika and ketchup. I wash these down with a Chilean Red.

Stay safe all, and have a good week all.

Oh, I also listened to the below, on my way to work.

I have always been putting together these playlists, I normally make up a playlist from a variety of different music genres and see if they fit together. So lately I have restricted myself to the albums I have posted about and have decided to share it with you, as we did in the old days with tapes

The only way I can think of sharing playlists these days is with something like Spotify, so above is some of what I have been listening to this week.
