“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything.” – Plato
Hello all
I started off this week, with a nice Sunday afternoon with an old favourite and one of the first albums I brought UB40 – Signing Off.
Midweek listening was filled in by Rico & His Band – Get Up Your Foot, Rico was the Trombounist with the Specials, so its another I have been listening to for years. I also had a good chat with fellow blogger Andrew Knapp
Got my result back from giving blood, and they are asking me to come back, as I have the anti-bodies to fight Covid.
Friday night was spent with a new artist Yazmin Lacey, and her second EP When The Sun Dips 90 Degrees, and I enjoyed it with a nice cool cider or two.
Saturday morning coffee was spent with a new artist to me, LCD Soundsystem, and their debut album, LCD Soundsystem,
Stay safe all, and have a good week.
Oh, I also listened to the below, on my way to work.
I have always been putting together these playlists, I normally make up a playlist from a variety of different music genres and see if they fit together. So lately I have restricted myself to the albums I have posted about and have decided to share it with you, as we did in the old days with tapes
The only way I can think of sharing playlists these days is with something like Spotify, so above is some of what I have been listening to this week.
