“Music in the soul can be heard by the universe.” – Lao Tzu

Hello all

Sunday morning I decided to listen to Nirvana debut album Bleach, an interesting Sunday morning that had me all well prepared for the Sunday morning food shop.

This week has been filled with chasing Subbies to get things done and telling designers who want to change things, it can’t happen it’s too late, sometimes I think it’s only me who knows that we handover this phase in two weeks time. So my midweek listening had to be a bit calmer than Nirvana, Adela – 19 seem to do the trick, with the latter part of the week filled with by The Gyrators ‎– Sounds From Another Dimension.

Some cider was fetched out of the fridge on Friday night, and I enjoy Dr. John ‎– Creole Moon, the vinyl copy I had ordered from France turned up this week.

I enjoyed listening to new artist Sans Soucis, and her 2nd single They Asked Me to Stay with my Saturday morning coffee while reading Loving the Music post about “The Stories Behind the Songs”, an interesting read.

Strange how in these times of lockdown, one of the highlights of the week was meeting up with Jackie and Tom Smith, had a good old chat with these two old friends, like I explained as I live in a house full of women, I can not wait to be in a pub with my mates and chat about man things, sorry Jackie.

A dear old friend of mine past away not long ago Mick Keogh. Mike really took me under his wing when 7 of us were up in court for 6 weeks, being the 2nd youngster in the dock, Mick really acted as a father figure to me.

One of his sons Stu Keogh, has set up a fundraiser for Dementia UK, a charity that is dear to my heart, I lost my dad in 2019 to Dementia as well. So if anyone has some spare coinage here is a link Stu’s birthday fundraiser for Dementia UK thank you in advance.

The new cooker going well, and I cooked a pasta bake on Saturday, for the sauce I used full-fat Greek yoghurt and double cream. I have a figure to keep you know!

Stay safe all, and have a good week all.

Oh, I also listened to the below, on my way to work.

I have always been putting together these playlists, I normally make up a playlist from a variety of different music genres and see if they fit together. So lately I have restricted myself to the albums I have posted about and have decided to share it with you, as we did in the old days with tapes

The only way I can think of sharing playlists these days is with something like Spotify, so above is some of what I have been listening to this week.
