“I haven’t understood a bar of music in my life, but I have felt it.” – Igor Stravinsky

Hello all

Way hay! I got my hair, I now look beautiful again!

With this new hair cut, I decided to listen to a bit of Acoustic Rock, Country Rock and Indie, last Sunday afternoon with John Salvage ‎– Coyote Hasten. Another new artist to me.
The Gyrators posted on Facebook, a video of them rehearsing and threatened new releases and live shows on the horizon.

At work, let’s say some of the sub-contractors have been performing below par, and they had to see a meaner side of Frankie boy, my mood may be helped by fact that I was listening to The Clash ‎– The Clash on the way to work. I enjoyed reading about the early days of the Clash, who formed in the area I grew up in. I also took some advice from my old school mate Tom Burke about future listening of other Clash material.

Later in the week Blur ‎– Leisure, and I was feeling a little bit let down, a bit like one of my sub-contractor, and my mood was not changing, until Friday, where I visit my other project which I can drive to, so Friday morning car music was Groundation ‎– Each One Teach One, back to Happy Frank again. I really do rate this American Reggae band highly, and I am not the only one, Andrew Knapp from Loving the Music, is of the say opinion, where he shared his thought in his great article The Cleverness of Groundation.

Saturday morning was spent with an old favourite on the turntable, The Cure ‎– Three Imaginary Boys.

Although I have not written anything about her yet, I have been a fan of Nina Simone for a long time, so when I found out about Lady Blackbird – Blackbird, and I heard that voice, my mood was nearly of the scale in happiness.

On the cooking front, if I do say myself, I cook a very nice Chessy chicken and bacon pasta bake, which went down with a nice bottle of Rioja. I still have a load left, so some will be sent up to my Father in Law, and Ellie and myself can have some for Sunday lunch, if she gets up in time, oh to be 21 again.

Well that all folks, I got to go and deliver some pasta, with Bob Marley & The Wailers ‎– Exodus.

Stay safe all, and have a good week.

Oh, I also listened to the below, on my way to work.

I have always been putting together these playlists, I normally make up a playlist from a variety of different music genres and see if they fit together. So lately I have restricted myself to the albums I have posted about and have decided to share it with you, as we did in the old days with tapes

The only way I can think of sharing playlists these days is with something like Spotify, so above is some of what I have been listening to this week.
